I like to photograph finds at the beach rather than take each one home. It saves space and leaves the treasures (most of them, anyway) for other beachcombers to discover. Please enjoy these photos and if you post or publish them, please credit the photographer. It's not nice to steal, but it is nice to share.
Thanks for that one, Jan. Did you ever expect to see a Conway Twitty hat in Australia? I bet someone surely missed their prized trucker hat. Oh, well.
ReplyDeleteActually I was hoping for a Jim Reeves hat so it was something of a crushing blow to discover this wasn't one. However, it actually made me laugh out loud when I spotted the name. Can you imagine the handsome filipino deckhand strutting topside, proudly showing off his new chapeau to envious shipmates: then fwap! a sudden gust of wind from the Pacific robs his bonce of the frankly stylish & sought-after headgear. Sobbing noises heard. Breaks even the stoniest heart.
